This past week was a special one for Sandbox Financial Partners. Our very own Blake Millard spending a couple of days in New York City for meetings, media appearances, and the 2025 New York Times DealBook Summit.
We wanted to share a few highlights as we close out the year with strong momentum.
DealBook Summit 2025
, CFA and our Director of Investments, attended the DealBook Summit, joining global leaders across business, policy, and technology. The conversations ranged from AI to the shifting geopolitical landscape.He also captured great behind-the-scenes photos from the Summit, the NYSE floor, and the Fox Business studio.
Two National TV Appearances
Blake — who writes the brilliant The Sandbox Daily newsletter — also made back-to-back media appearances last week discussing markets, consumer resilience, and year-end positioning:

• Schwab Network – Opening Bell with Nicole Petallides
“The stage is set” for a late-year rally, Blake said. He thinks investors will be “forced off the sidelines” and considers 6,800 on the SPX a “pit stop,” with 7,000 within reach soon. While the short-term trend in Bitcoin has “deteriorated,” he thinks the long-term opportunity remains. Blake also discussed where he sees opportunities in tech.
